Room Leader
Employer: Wonder Education Group

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the daily operations of your assigned room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Arrange the classroom and observe children according to Wonder Education’s philosophy, utilising these observations to enhance engagement and learning.
- Develop and implement play-based educational programs that are innovative, adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework, and meet each child’s individual needs.
- Track, document, and assess children’s development, leveraging this information for curriculum design and continuous learning support.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting open communication and collaborative efforts.
- Mentor and assist junior educators, providing guidance, training, and avenues for professional growth.
- Uphold all legal, regulatory, and centre policies and procedures consistently.
Qualifications:
- Obtain a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A diploma or higher in early childhood education is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the ELYF and NQS.
- Montessori Certification for ages 0–3 or 3–6 (preferred).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check

- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs that foster children’s learning and development.
- Ensure all practices align with regulatory requirements (National Regulations, NQS) and the EYLF V2.0, providing robust support for children’s growth.
- Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with fellow early childhood educators.
- Engage positively with families, establishing strong connections and supporting home-school collaboration.
- Demonstrate proactive flexibility in managing daily tasks to ensure seamless centre operations.
Qualifications:
- A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the ELYF and NQS.
